The Minnesota False Claims Act (MFCA) allows individuals to sue in the name of the State of Minnesota where a bad actor engages in conduct that defrauds the state or local governments of taxpayer dollars. This program will introduce you to the MFCA and its applicability in various areas of law relevant to representation of clients in poverty, and will provide strategies for developing and bringing MFCA suits.
