This training views our Special Education system through the lens of our histories of racism and ableism. The training focuses on ableism and issues of consent, the intersection of race and disability in special education, and the importance of the language we use in advocacy. The training prepares advocates to approach special education advocacy from a place of greater understanding and inclusivity.
